Illusion
This picture has a special background, in the truest sense of the word:
The transparent frame connects the historic walls of Vitigliano with the legendary, undulating grain fields of Tuscany. The walls are also part of Tuscan architecture and ultimately part of the Tuscan landscape. The fields undulate up and down, on and on, seemingly infinite, delicate, gentle, almost hypnotizing. If the exact same photograph is rotated by 180 degrees, the illusion is created that the hills become valleys and vice versa. This image thus forms the infinite conclusion of my view of Tuscany.
