Heaven's Gate

When I stood in the chapel of Vitigliano for the first time in summer 2022, I discovered the cross on the floor, turned around and looked out through the door. The idea for the picture was born: a photograph at night with a starry sky, preferably with the Milky Way.

However, as this constellation was only possible in autumn, I traveled back a few weeks later to realize my idea. The effort required for this photo was considerable due to the difficult lighting conditions and the perspective. But I am still pleased with the result today.
